Project supervisors of BOSEPO participants are not allowed to serve as a judge in order to protect the fairness of the competition.

SCIENCE JUDGES: Anyone with a passion for environmental issues and STEM disciplines may volunteer to be a judge for the BOSEPO Science Projects. If you would like to volunteer for BOSEPO Science, please register using our judge registration form. Volunteering as a judge requires at least three hours of your time on the judging day (Friday, February 21, 2020). Lunch, refreshments will be provided for judges during the event.

BOSEPO Science projects will be judged by 4-6 individual judges. We have online judging tool which can be used trough tablets and smart-phones. we will provide tablet for those who need one for judging purposes. Paper judging forms will be available for those who prefer.

BOSEPO Short Film projects will be judged by a group of judges. If you have relevant experience or degree related to the category you would like to be a judge, you can register as a judge. Volunteering as a judge requires at least three hours of your time on the judging day (Friday, February 21, 2020). Lunch, refreshments will be provided for judges during the event.

 Judges are expected to

- listen to every student’s presentation for five minutes
- evaluate the presentation's organization and content
- ask several questions according to the judging criteria
- provide feedback about the poster design, content, scientific method, data management, and student’s presentation to - promote future improvement
