What do Florida Flow Fest volunteers do?


BLISS FAIRIES are WORKSHOP AREA HOSTS.  Their job is keep the instructor ON TIME, to support the instructor with any tasks they request, and to ENSURE the safety of the group taking the workshop: EVERYONE in the workshop MUST HAVE a wristband on.  If they don’t, it means they haven’t signed the waiver. NO BUENO.  This is actually where the term Bliss Fairy comes in: if you see people in workshops who DON’T HAVE A WRISTBAND ON, you need to BLISS THEM OUT of the workshop and over to the Registration Tent.  Hi Fives will take from there.  Check IN at the registration tent during set-up, between 9am-10am for supplies & further instructions!



HI FIVEs are our greeters.  They staff the registration tent, checking people in, having them sign liability waivers and general releases, taking money for passes and occasionally additional merchandise.  HI FIVEs are also the information hub of the fest: people come to you for schedules, workshop descriptions, and sanity.  And: high fives.



RESOURCERs are people supporting set-up, tear-down, and the movement of resources around the park.  ALSO, RESOURCERs are responsible for setting up and tearing down the registration supplies daily.  They are FIRST ON (SET-UP), OR LAST OFF (TEAR DOWN) the park.  Tear down crew is also going to been leading our LEAVE NO TRACE clean up and clear out process at the end of each day.

CLOUDS... what do clouds DO? They float around and make it rain. :)

Do we get to take workshops also?
We schedule your volunteer positions with an eye to the particular workshops in each space, and matching you up with the workshops you want to take.  So, TAKE THE WORKSHOP!  You are free to take as many workshops when you are OFF SHIFT as you like!
