Application for temporary increase in mobile data
Schools, academy trusts and local authorities can now request help to increase mobile data allowances for children and young people who:

1) Do not have fixed broadband at home
2) Cannot afford additional data for their devices
3) Are experiencing disruption to their face-to-face education.

One of the following must also apply. They are children:

1) in years 3 to 11 and whose face-to-face education is disrupted
2) who are clinically extremely vulnerable and need to shield on current official advice (this could be from a doctor or hospital consultant)
3) who live in a household that’s been advised to shield because a family member is clinically extremely vulnerable
4) who cannot attend school – even though theirs is open – because restrictions prevent it
