Thank you for your interest in the 2024 New Summer Sounds Series at The Kennett Flash! This series is designed to highlight new local artists and provide a professional venue to showcase their talent as they compete in a Battle of the Bands style format show.
Please only apply if you/your band are new to performing live (1-2 years experience).
The series will feature three (3) rounds, and one final round where our three (3) finalists will compete for a $400 prize (sponsored by The Mattock School of Music) and a chance to headline your own performance at The Kennett Flash! Winners are chosen by a panel of judges made up of artists, volunteers, board and staff.
For semi-final rounds, each artist will perform 4 songs. For the final round, each artist will perform for 30 minutes.
