NICC Day of Caring Sign up Friday, May 3

Thank you for considering to join us for the NICC Day of Caring on Friday, May 3! We have a variety of projects you can choose from at NICC!  Please take a few moments to complete your registration, we are excited that you will be part of beautifying the NICC campus. Faculty, Staff and Students are all encouraged to join us for the fun! Volunteer for just an hour or for the entire event! Spread the word to your students, co-workers and classmates!


Information for NICC Staff and Faculty 
Events sponsored by the College rely on volunteers to ensure success. You are encouraged to volunteer for those activities with the permission of your supervisor. Supervisors must first assure that the department work is accomplished, but are also encouraged to be flexible to allow volunteering when possible to support our College value of “Service”.

Calmar Projects: CDC playground & entry cleanup rake & turn mulch, cut grasses, clean edges, Turn garden beds; Patio-remove dead lilies, flowers & grasses,  Student center cut dead grasses, rake rock back into place from winter plowing at Admin & SC, pick up trash on grounds.  Hwy 150 ditch (especially by lift station), Shelter belt by CDC. Walk the perimeter of all buildings for trash & debris piles.

Peosta Projects: Apply mulch at the NICC Child Development Center, pick up trash in Outdoor Learning Lab and on campus grounds, clean and wash the OLL center and weed campus flower beds.
