Cambridge GP Society Committee Applications
Welcome to Cambridge University GP Society's 2020/21 Committee Applications!

Thank you for taking an interest in becoming a member of the Cambridge GP Society! We are looking for enthusiastic, driven and easy-going people who will help the Society grow and promote General Practice.

We are a very friendly and committed bunch of people with a real passion for general practice and a holistic approach to patient care and we would love to welcome you on board! We are looking for the following roles:

Secretary:
The secretary will be in charge of managing the society’s e-mail account and reply to Facebook message requests. Other duties include sending out agendas in advance of meetings and recording and circulating the meetings’ minutes afterwards. This role requires good organisation and time management skills.

Events Officers (x3):
Events Officers will be part of the Events Team under our current Events Lead Adelaide (acey2). They will be in charge of contacting speakers and guests for individual events, book event rooms and attend the events to represent the society. They are also expected to help with the organisation and the running of the annual conference. This role require good organisational, time management and creative skills.

Current Affairs Officer:
This person will source blog posts related to primary care/family medicine either self-authored or by recruiting writers (students or professionals) who want to be featured on our website. This role requires writing and editing skills.
