Please register for the professional learning you would like to attend. All classes are available for CEUs / ODU PD workshop credit. You must attend 2 of the 4 weekend workshops to earn ODU PD credit. There will not be any fees associated with these sessions other than the CEU or ODU PD credit.

Implementing Guided Math - 5 session professional learning opportunity that will take place from 4-6 after school in September and October. Daphne Irby will be the facilitator. You must attend all 5 sessions for PD credit.

What Can a Teacher do to build a Culture of Self-Directed Learning? - This weekend workshop will be facilitated by Frank Beickelman in Sept.

What Can a Teacher do to Build a Culture of Critical Thinkers? - This weekend workshop will be facilitated by Frank Beickelman in Nov.

How Do I use a targeted Item Analysis from Math Test Results to focus on Student Skills? - This weekend workshop will be facilitated by Frank Beickelman and Daphne Irby

What Can a Teacher do to Build a culture of problem-solving in the classroom? - This weekend workshop will be facilitated by Frank Beickelman and Daphne Irby

Action Research - Teaching Students of Poverty - Series of 5 sessions that will start in January. Kitty Quinn will be the facilitator. You must attend all 5 sessions for PD credit..

St. Vincent's Family Center Staff Development - 2 sessions, one in Oct and the other in Nov. These will be from 4-6 after school. St. Vincent's will be providing facilitation.

Jon Peterson 101 - This half-day session will take place in January during the school day. The Office of Catholic Schools will facilitate this session.

Consultation 101 - This half-day session will take place in March during the school day. The Office of Catholic Schools will facilitate this session.

Algebra Collaboration - Algebra teachers will meet to discuss results and collaborate to improve student achievement. There will be 2 sessions, one in Oct and one in Feb and will take place during the school day. Susan Streitenberger and Daphne Irby will be facilitating.

Grade band Math Collaboration - K-2, 3-5 and 6-8 Math teachers will meet to discuss results and collaborate to improve student achievement. Each grade band will meet once during the school day. There will be an AM (9-11) session and a PM (1-3) session. Indicate below which session you will attend. These sessions will be facilitated by Daphne Irby.

High School Math Chairperson Meetings - 2 sessions, one in Oct and one in Mar. Susan Streitenberger and Daphne Irby will be the facilitators.

Social Studies Course of Study Review - There will be several sessions throughout the year. These meetings will take place during the school day and will be facilitated by Susan Streitenberger and Daphn Irby.

Computer Science Course of Study Review - There will be several sessions throughout the year. These meetings will take place during the school day and will be facilitated by Susan Streitenberger and Daphn Irby.

Creating Standards-based Assessments - There will be 2 opportunities offered during the school year, one in Aug and one in Dec. and will be offered during the school day. There will be an outside facilitator.

Standards-Based Learning Team - There will be 3 sessions, one in Sept, Jan, and in May. These will be during the school day and will be facilitated by Daphne Irby.
