Do you have a desire to go to college or to prepare for a future career, then this is the elective for you! AVID is a college and career prep elective. For one class period a day, you will receive additional academic, social, emotional, and organizational support to help you be successful in your classes from not only your AVID teacher, but also from our college-age AVID Tutors. We also visit various college campuses to get a feel of what a higher education can offer you. While in the AVID elective it should be your goal to maintain a 2.0 grade point average. In order to be a part of the AVID elective, you must complete the interview process. Your first step in this process is to complete this form.
