Poverty and the Arts (POVA) welcomes all artists who have experienced homelessness at some point in their life to apply regardless of technical artistic training, college degrees, and self-taught skills. Art forms currently exhibited at POVA include: drawing, painting, photography, jewelry, fiber arts, mixed media, sewing, and more.
We acknowledge the numerous barriers people in society experience to engaging in artistic, economic, and social opportunities. Our desire is that POVA will be comprised of artists from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
