The Joint Chat Rheum is a program launched by Take a Pain Check aimed towards building a community and making connections at a personal level. Led by ambassadors and executives (teens and young adults with rheumatic diseases), hangouts will take place on a monthly basis via Zoom. Each session will be one hour long and will involve team building exercises, discussing relevant topics, asking questions, participating in game & activity nights and much more. Before each session, an itinerary will be released for members.

This will be a comfortable space where members will be able to share their experiences, discuss topics that are most relevant to them and hear from others their age. Members will also get access to our Discord community platform to continue conversations with the Take a Pain Check community and their new friends!

This is open to anyone ages 16-25 living with a rheumatic disease. If you are below the age range, we will require a parent/guardian consent form.

**This will not be a "support group", more of an informal chat where no medical advice will be given. It will be a social hangout for youth and young adults living with rheumatic diseases.
