FRC Team 6658 is now accepting applications! Before you get started here is a little bit about our team:

Eagle Rockbotics was founded in the fall of 2017 and has been participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition every year since then. What is FIRST? FIRST stands for, "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology" and is the organization that operates the FIRST Robotics Competition, FIRST LEGO League Challenge, FIRST LEGO League Explore, FIRST LEGO League Discover, and FIRST Tech Challenge competitions, which you may have participated in.

Our team is organized into 5 groups, Administration, Programming, Mechanical, Electrical, and CAD. Each group works together to complete their respective tasks needed for our team to be ready for season and competition. We'll get into these groups and what they do and learn a little later in the application.

Our team participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition, every school year we begin with our pre-season training until early January for our kickoff. During Kick-Off FIRST releases the game video and Game Manual for the season, this kicks off a 3 month build period where we must design, prototype, and build a robot that fits this year's game that will play in competition. What you need to know before applying:

Joining our team is a time commitment,  during our pre and off seasons our meetings are less frequent but attendance is still important. We require that members attend all meetings and commit to their chosen role in the club. Typically, our build season is from January to March, where we meet 3-5 days a week during the school week until 6 PM after school and on Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Our club is open to all grades and no experience is needed in STEM to join, we only ask that you are committed to the club and have the motivation & will to learn.
