coming clean
The Partnership for Community Wellness has partnered with Soul Sessions Roanoke to bring this series to the open mic.

Each session in the series will be hosted at Ursula's Cafe in downtown Roanoke with an audience of open-minded folks. This venue is sobriety-safe (no alcohol) and inclusive; bring your poetry, spoken word or music to the stage. We are listening.

We'll focus on recovery, addiction, stigma, trauma, all that comes along with it and YOUR interpretation of each. Whether you've been personally touched by addiction, are in recovery, lost someone you loved or have a story - you are welcome to share. If you are not comfortable speaking, we encourage you to join us in the audience. Your support is important!

Dates and times will be announced. Please fill out the short form below to stay up-to-date!

Though it is not a requirement, each series session is designed to follow our Find Your Voice writing workshop with Bryan Hancock.
