ACS Children's Chorus at the Yuletide concert
Register for free for your child (3rd grade or older) to sing with the 100+ adult choir Asheville Choral Society in our Yuletide Candlelight concert. 

Rehearsals:
* Tuesdays, 4pm, in North Asheville (will confirm location in advance via email). Students must attend 3/4 of these Tuesday afternoons. Rehearsals will be approximately 45 minutes, and parents/caretakers will stay with students in building.

* 7-8:30pm Thursday December 1 at First Presbyterian Church downtown, at 40 Church Street. 90 minute rehearsal, parents/caretakers stay with students in building. We will practice entrances, share where students will be backstage, etc., at this key rehearsal.

Performances  at First Presbyterian Church downtown, at 40 Church Street. 90 minute concert, parents/caretakers stay with students in building.
  • 6pm call time for a 7pm performance at Arden Presbyterian Church (12/2)
  • 1pm call time for a 2pm performance at Arden Presbyterian Church (12/3)

Prerequisites of Participation: 
  • A parent or caretaker must be in the building for all rehearsals and performances.  
  • Students and caretakers planning to attend rehearsals must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, in keeping with ACS's policies regarding in-person singing and membership.
  • Register for participation before October 31.
  • If fewer than 12 students register, we will not proceed with rehearsals.
  • For performances, children will dress in white, black, with a pop of red if desired. 
  • Caretakers will review ACS's Child Safety and Protection Policy.
  • Each student will receive an adult ticket comped for each performance. Family and friends will need to purchase any additional tickets.
  • ACS will photograph the concert, and these images may include the children's chorus. If caretakers do NOT wish their student to be included in these images (that may be used for fundraising or marketing purposes), please email info@ashevillechoralsociety.org to make arrangements.
