Election of 2 new SBML Editors for 2023
This is a call for votes for 2 new SBML Editors to replace Frank Bergmann and Brett Olivier, whose current 3-year terms end at the end of this year. The previously issued call for nominations resulted in 6 unique nominees, 5 of whom have accepted their nominations.
Each confirmed candidate is listed below in alphabetical order, along with comments written by the people who nominated them. Following that, there is a list of checkboxes with each of the candidates' names. Please vote for TWO candidates. The two candidates who receive the most votes (and who accept) will be considered elected as new SBML Editors for 3-year terms beginning in January 2023 and ending December 31, 2026.

Voting is open to everyone who is a member of the sbml-discuss Google group. If you are not a member, you are welcome to register.

The SBML Editor election process is described on the following page:

   http://sbml.org/Documents/SBML_Development_Process/Election_of_SBML_Editors

The following are noteworthy conditions of the SBML Editor election process:

• Each vote must be cast by someone who is a MEMBER OF THE SBML-DISCUSS Google Group. Votes that are cast with missing name and address information, or those which cannot be found on the mailing list membership, will be ignored. As explained in the SBML Development Process, this policy ensures uniqueness of votes cast.

• Candidates may vote for themselves if they wish.

• You may only vote once. In the case of multiple votes from the same person, the vote with the most recent time stamp in this electronic voting system will be used, and previous votes by the same person will be ignored.

• Votes cast will be confidential; only the current SBML Editors will view the results of the vote.

Voting will end at midnight (PST) on Jan 31 2023.
