HELLO and THANK YOU for your interest in the GEAR UP Kentucky Student Ambassador program!

This program is intended to provide leadership and community service opportunities and is a way to be positively engaged in your school.

As a GUK Student Ambassador you will be engaging in the following activities:

*Transition to college activities as needed: scholarship apps/college apps/resumes/mock interviews/letters of recommendations etc

*$100 Solution Community Service Project

*Creating Social Media content for GUK—creating post for local upcoming events, topics of interest, postsecondary prep topics that are student identified and driven

*Creating Podcasts/Vlogs/Blogs material for our FACES campaign

*Creating content for our GUK-created newsletter or material for the Council on Postsecondary Education website/KnowHow2Go website

*Assisting with GUK/school events

If you are interested in becoming a specialized Student Ambassador as either a Peer Mentor or Peer Tutor, you will complete the general GUK Student Ambassador questions on this form and the corresponding Peer Mentor and/or Peer Tutor questions if you indicate you are interested.

The GUK Student Ambassador application will take approximately 20 minutes to complete and the Peer Mentor and Peer Tutor sections will take an additional 10-15 minutes per section.
