CKC Staff Reunion Adventure Retreat :)
Event Timing: Meet at 10 am on 3/9 at Collier-Seminole State Park just north of Everglades City, FL.  March 9th-12th, 2022.  We'll exit whenever the tides allow on the 12th.

**This retreat is an adventure, and adventures are unpredictable. We will contend with tides, wind, sun, far distances between islands, island creatures, and iffy bug weather on the Florida coast. What's this retreat about anyway?
In case you're in need of some soul refreshment, some campy vibes, some epic wilderness, some good laughs, and some spiritual wind in your sails, we wish to invite you out for an adventure retreat in the wilderness of sweet southern Florida this Spring.

WHO: Previous and present CKC staff (and some other rad people as well :) Spots are limited so get your spot while they last!
WHAT: There will be a great gathering of friends in an epic and wild place for an informal wilderness retreat. Expect campouts, adventuring, hanging around the fire, sweet sunrises/sunsets, epic stars, time for worship, prayer and reflection, and some encouraging talks as well!
WHEN: March 9-12, Thursday evening to Sunday evening.
WHERE: 10000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge
WHY: Because it's super fun, and that's our motto. And hopefully we'll all go home refreshed and stoked on life after enjoying the wild with such good company.

▪ Once we get your info locked in we'll send you another email with a packing list to get you going! Fly in/out of Naples, Ft. Myers, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, etc.  You are responsible for getting yourself to and from the event.

COST: This will depend on how many people sign up, but it should be ~$150 per person.

A packing list will go out with the first trip email, but think sunscreen, water proofing, windlayers, a good book,  bug spray, and a hammock!

Our Staff Retreats involve physical exertion and will require you to break a sweat.  This year will include a lot of time fighting tides in a canoe as we go from island to island.  This retreat, while being fun :), will also be physically demanding and potentially bombed by mosquitos.  But hey!  We're up for an adventure and ready to take on challenge in the name of growing friendship and faith with people we love.  Assess your capabilities as you approach this application.  We are here if you'd like to ask any questions.
