We, the undersigned, strongly oppose the proposed discharge of up to 1 million gallons of treated but still radioactive water from the fuel pools at Indian Point as soon as August of this year. We are calling for urgent action to pass the Harckham-Levenberg bill S.5181/A.5338 and for Governor Hochul to sign it into law to stop any releases proposed by Holtec of radioactive wastewater into the Hudson River.
