Letters From the 4th Floor Submission 21-22
Use this form to submit prose, poetry, and artwork to be included in Appleton East's Literary Magazine. The theme for the 2021-22 magazine is Kintsugi: the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, thereby transforming something broken into something more beautiful than the original. It can be seen as a metaphor for transformation from a broken state. It is about valuing the imperfect. How do you practice Kintsugi? What does this art mean for our world today? Your work is the interpretation of the Kintsugi theme. It doesn't need to be about pottery or gold. Submit your work by March 22nd.

Drawing and Photography must be submitted as a jpeg.

Poetry must be submitted in size 12 Times New Roman font.

Prose must be submitted in size 12 Times New Roman font. Limit of 300 words. If your entry is part of a longer story or essay, give a short introduction to the whole work at the beginning or end of the entry.

You may submit 2 original entries per category. Be sure to allow for sharing of your work!
