Help Schmeeckle gather enough pumpkins for our traditional jack-o'-lantern-lit trails during the Fall Candlelight Hike!

Options For Donating:

This fall, we are looking for community members to help procure enough pumpkins for the Candlelight Hike! There are two different options for donating pumpkins:

Donate an already carved pumpkin on November 1!
Donate an uncarved pumpkin the week before the Hike!

You are welcome to donate carved pumpkins, uncarved pumpkins, or both!

More Information About Donating Your Carved Pumpkin:

We will be glad to receive your carved pumpkins after Halloween! Carved pumpkins can be dropped off at the Trailhead/Sentry Plaza the morning of November 1, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Carved pumpkins should be in presentable condition (i.e., not moldy or squishy!)
If you would like to donate a freshly-carved pumpkin BEFORE Halloween, you are welcome to drop them off at the Visitor Center between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Tuesday, October 29 to Thursday, October 31

More Information About Donating Your Uncarved Pumpkin:

Uncarved pumpkins can be dropped off during working hours at the front desk of the Schmeeckle Visitor Center from Monday, October 21 to Tuesday, October 29 (Hours: M-F = 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., S-S = 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Uncarved pumpkins should be large enough to carve and in good condition (i.e., not squashed or moldy)
