The Cosmopolitan Student Study is a research study conducted by me, Daniel Guigui, as part of a Master thesis in the study programme Comparative Social Change in the Sociology Department of the Trinity College Dublin and the University College Dublin.

The goal of this study is to investigate into the cosmopolitan outlooks and practices of undergraduate students across both universities to gain insights that support the creation of new knowledge in the field of Sociology and cosmopolitanism

1) I have read and understood the information sheet provided. I understand that I can ask any questions I may have at any time before, during, and after the study.

2) I consent to be included in the research being conducted for the Cosmopolitan Students study.

3) I understand that this project aims to gather information on undergraduate students’ cosmopolitan outlooks and practices.

4) I understand that the information collected as part of the Cosmopolitan Students study is used as an argumentative base for the administrating research’s Master thesis and potentially further publications in academia.

5) I understand that I have been randomly selected based on a purposefully snowball sampling due to my affiliation with the University College Dublin or Trinity College Dublin.

6) I understand that a range of information will be collected, including name, date of birth, current study programme, family relations, social activities, and degree of open-mindedness.

7) I understand that the online interviews are recorded for later transcription into text-based documents.

8) I understand that the information will be encrypted and stored on a confidential base on a password-protected computer and used for research purposes only.

9) I understand that I may withdraw my participation at any time, including after the information has been collected.

10)I understand that I can provide my email address to receive information about the research results after the project has finished.
