Room Parent Volunteer Form 2021-2022
Thank you for your interest in serving as a Room Parent at Hudsonville Christian Schools. Room Parents are needed in Young 5's through 8th grade.  Please read over and fill out the following form. Electronic submissions are due by June 1, 2021.  

Room Parent responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Communicate with your assigned teacher about his/her specific volunteer needs.
2. Coordinate with parents from the class regarding their involvement in volunteer opportunities.
3. Coordinate the planning of your assigned teacher's birthday and Christmas Celebrations.
4. Schedule lunch/recess parent coverage as needed.
5. Attend or find coverage for class field trips.
6. Provide baked goods for Grandparents' Day in November.
7. Recruit parent volunteers for the Walkathon in May.
8. New family support if there are new families in your classroom.

You can sign up to be a Room Parent in one or multiple classrooms, however, not all requests will be able to accommodated due to the number of parents wishing to participate. Room Parents are selected by a lottery system and will be notified in August if you were selected as a Room Parent for the 2020-2021 school year.
