Hello you magical being! We are so pleased you wish to help us. These events cannot happen without your help, so we are very appreciative of you! Please be sure to fill out all sections below and we will be in touch for our next event. You may visit www.bigwhimsy.com for a list of faerie events, run by us and others.

Baltimore Faerie Faire (BFF) Mission Statement: The Baltimore Faeries celebrate the wonders of the natural world, and all the beings that inhabit it, real and imaginary. We seek to heal, inspire, nurture, entertain and serve our Baltimore community by creating Wonder in an urban Faerie Festival. We strive to find balance between the concrete and the dirt, the practical and the fantastic. Promoting creativity in costume, crafts, music, dance, art and attitude, Baltimore Faeries seek to create a welcoming space for young and old, dreamers and doers, artists and patrons of the arts.

The BFF is now under the umbrella of the Ocean Renaissance Foundation, a charity non-profit.

What role are you interested in? We will do our best to accommodate your request, but nothing is guaranteed. Choose as many as you like.

Please note: Cleanup and trash/recycling are the most important and are granted 1st choice for what role they would like at future events. Parking help is especially needed at Royal Rabbit events.

Beautification Fae (decorations) - setup; clean, put together; rearrange things; hang things on walls, banisters, etc.; move tables and chairs; make everything look amazing before doors open.

Doorkeeper of Gatherings Fae (admissions) - check tickets; sell tickets; pass out things to guests; handle money; greet everyone who comes in the door.

Purification Fae (cleanup) - Clean up at the end of the event; sweep, take down decorations, mop, etc.; make everything look like we were never there

Hauler of Wares Fae (vendor load in/out) - Assist vendors before event and/or after event; includes lifting; move stuff in and out (not set up their area); hold doors open; watch stuff while they go and park.

Emissary Fae (runner/helper) - Fill in where needed (someone may call out sick); make sure volunteers are good; help solve an issue that comes up.

Portraiture Fae (photography) - Take pictures at the event; may assist the main photographer; photobooth helper.

Libations Fae (bar and food) - Set up food and drinks; 21+ to serve alcohol; more details will be sent to those chosen for this role

Burly Fae (security) - Make sure everyone is safe; watch the door; walking or sitting depending on event; make sure people are safe waiting for rides; make sure noone enters that should not be there.

Mastery Educator Fae (crafts/workshop) - Teach a class on something you know; anything fae related: jewelery, metal, knife making, crochet, etc.

Reclamation Fae (trash/recycling) - Pick up trash; seperate trash and recycling; take out to dumpster; make sure trashcan dont over flow.

Geniality Fae (information/hospitality) - Give guests information on event; greet them; make sure they know where to go or what time things are.

Valet Fae (parking guide and crosswalk guard) - Park cars, stop traffic for guests to walk across street, at Royal Rabbit, help them park in the field..

Merchant Wrangler (vendor coordinator) - Be the main contact for vendors; organize vendors; send emails; give them info they need.

Fae Wrangler (volunteer coordinator) - Be the main contact for volunteers; organize volunteers, send emails,

Character Actor (rarely a stand-alone job) - Be a specific character that walks around or performs. Rarely ever used.
