敲擊襄國際作曲比賽已發展成作曲家獎學金計劃，鼓勵年輕作曲家之間以新穎的方式合作，並提供專業指導。計劃由上野健教授主持，葉浩堃博士共同執導，5位入圍作曲家將會呈現他們為敲擊襄見習樂手特意譜寫的新作，以公開綵排形式進行公開展演及演後藝人談中，探索藝術科技和當代聲音技術。

Toolbox Percussion International Composition Competition had been evolved into a Composer Fellowship Scheme that celebrates new ways of collaboration and professional mentorship for the contemporary classical composer. Chaired by Prof. Ken Ueno and co-direct by Dr. Austin Yip, the 5 fellows will present their new works written for Toolbox Percussion Associate Artist, they will explore the use of Art Tech and contemporary sound technology in an open rehearsal style public showcase with post-performance artist discussions.
