TWISTER Conference is a daylong event that aims to inform, motivate, and empower middle and high school individuals who identify as female in grades 8th -12th to pursue a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

Time: 9:00-4:00pm
Day of Schedule
- 8:00 to 8:30 Check-in
- 8:30 to 9:00 Welcome/Keynote
- 9:15 to 10:15 Session 1
- 10:25 to 11:25 Session 2
- 11:30 to 12:30 Lunch
- 12:45-1:45 Session 3
- 2:00-3:00 Session 4
- 3:15-3:45 Closing
Expect 15 to 25 participants to attend your session. Screens and projectors are available for use. Session length is 55 minutes, typically divided into:
- 8-10 min. introduction and ice breaker
- 25-35 min. hands-on activity (facilitate an inquiry-based activity relative to your topic)
- 8-10 min. Q & A, debrief, and/or reflection wrap-up
