TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I understand that NOBTS Fred Luter, Jr. African American Scholarships have been designated by donors to help with the cost of tuition and fees. Therefore, if my tuition is fully covered by outside sources, my NOBTS scholarship may be reduced or removed. I am requesting financial aid only because my tuition and fees are not covered in full by other funding sources.

I understand that submission of this scholarship application does not guarantee that I will receive a scholarship from NOBTS.

• I understand that all communication about my NOBTS scholarship will occur using my NOBTS student email. Because of this, I understand that if I fail to use this email address, I could miss important reminders, thereby resulting in the loss of my scholarship.

I understand that I must submit a thank-you note for each scholarship that I receive, and I understand that these thank-you notes are due by the drop/add date for the upcoming semester.

I agree to provide an appropriate thank-you note for each scholarship that I receive (thank-you note guidelines are available on the Financial Aid website).

I understand that my account balance with the seminary’s Business Office must be clear in order to receive a scholarship.

I understand that taking less hours than I have noted on this application or dropping classes after the beginning of school will likely result in a reduction of my scholarship amount. The Financial Aid Office reserves the right to reduce scholarship amounts if students make course changes.

 • I understand that I will be responsible for any charges that occur as a result of the reduction or removal of any awards.
I have read and agree to the terms and conditions. *
