CPS Weekend Backpack Program

Your child has an opportunity to participate in a backpack program at Cambridge Public Schools. The program gives your child a backpack not for books, but for food. Each Friday (Thursday for PreSchool), your child will get a backpack to take home filled with nutritious food and snacks for use that weekend.

We will do our best to ensure that this program is confidential. Students will not be identified as participating. They will be allowed to pick-up their backpack each Friday a few minutes before leaving school or they will be dropped off to their location.
