RCIA as it is known by, is a Gift to the Church.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the official ritual of the Church which directs, supports and sustains the way of faith and conversion by which adults and, children who have reached the age of reason are initiated into the Catholic Church. Although many Catholics are not familiar with it, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults was restored to the Church in 1972 at the request of the Second Vatican Council as the normative way by which adults (and children who have reached the age of reason) are to be initiated into the Catholic Church.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults RCIA (and the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children RCIA) is for anyone over age 7, :

So, who should use this application?

Anyone who:
-has never been baptized OR (If you have been baptized you must provide proof)
-has been baptized in another Christian religion OR
-has been baptized Catholic, but has not received the sacraments of First Eucharist and/or Confirmation

A note regarding the Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults. Registrations is available all year long. The candidates may begin the process at any time but must complete one liturgical cycle before receiving the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

Sessions will be held weekly. Saturdays from 1:00PM - 2:30PM and Sunday 1:00PM - 2:15PM beginning on Aug 13th, 2023.

Sacraments to be Celebrated at the Easter Vigil of March 30th, 2024.
