Come along to the first of our set of workshops with the brilliant MD/Composer, Geraint Owen (currently working on the UK Tour of “Chicago”, on ‘Musical Theatre Structure and Writing’ It is taking place on Sunday 17th November, 2-4pm in Old Labs, Newnham College. This will be a great session for those interested in writing Musical Theatre, or for those MT lovers who would like to learn more about the processes behind musicals! In the session we will explore the inner workings of musical theatre structure, and its fundamental relationship with character. We’ll then unpack our favourite shows and see how they operate on the micro and macro level, and learn some tools we can apply to our own writing. We’re so excited to see you there!
