When Art is a Country…To commemorate the 53rd anniversary of Bangladesh’s Liberation Day, DAG invites academic, journalist and foreign policy analyst, C. Raja Mohan and award-winning photographer and photo-journalist Raghu Rai for a discussion with Kishore Singh, SVP, DAG, on the trauma and transformation of a nation from the viewpoint of those who had a ringside view of its challenges and successes. 

The conversation will be held on 19 April 2024 against the backdrop of Chittaprosad’s Bangladesh War, a work that reveals the artist’s use of symbols of hope against persecution and domination.
