We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups in tech to apply. This includes, but is not limited to following examples: If you are a woman, or you are a person of color, or part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or you are a refugee, or you have any kind of handicap, or you are facing economic hardships – we want to invite you to be part of JS Kongress 2020 that is all about "Scaling JS – Pushing the Limits: Massive Platforms, Data-Driven Architectures, Modern APIs".

We anticipate that we will receive applications from more candidates than we are able to offer support in a financial way. Along with some information about who you are, we ask a few questions about what you do in tech, or what you wish to learn at #jskongress. These answers are helpful for the jury, who will analyze the applications and award the tickets.

Scholarship holders will receive a JS Kongress 2020 ticket (15-16 April 2020 in Munich, Germany) including drinks and food during the event (breakfast, coffee breaks, hot lunch, snacks on the first evening).

Depending on the diversity fund volume (that is composed of Diversity Sponsors as well as Support Tickets, that can be bought in the ticket shop) we might be able to offer support for travel and accommodation (up to €300) as well.

Please note that you have to take care of visa matters yourself.
