Platform Amendment Petition Form - 2024
Any registered Maine Democrat may use this form to take out a petition to propose an amendment to the Maine Democratic Party Platform.

Platform amendment petitions require 25 signatures of State Delegates and Alternates to qualify for the State Convention ballot.  Petitions will be circulated electronically by the MDP with State Delegates and Alternates. The deadline to take out a petition and meet the signature requirement is 5/17/24.

If a petition gets the required signatures, it will appear on the State Convention ballot to be voted on by State Delegates in May. If it passes, it will become a part of the Maine Democratic Party Platform.
