Thank you for participating in this survey! A group of residents in the Lake Chapala area have entered discussions with the Chapala-Guadalajara Bus Company to create a bus tracking app.
A tracking app would allow a user arriving at bus stop to have more precise information on when the next bus will arrive or depart. This in turn can improve the quality of the rider experience. For example, if buses operate every 30 minutes, a trip to Wal-mart from Rancho del Oro might have up to one hour of variability just for the wait. A tracking app would allow passengers to better synchronize activities and reduce the annoying wait. An enhanced rider experience can lead to a reduction of cars on the roads.
All residents in the Lake Chapala community are encouraged to complete this questionnaire to collect useful data helpful to proceeding with this project.
