The Town of Bonavista has erected signage for Bonavista based businesses, giving tourist directions. These signs are placed in strategic locations around the community and will be the only road signage permitted in Bonavista. Any signs that are erected without Council approval will be removed immediately.

The intent of the signage standards and regulations is to balance the visibility of signage with an attractive appearance of the community. The Town regulates signage in order to establish a level playing field for all businesses. Some signs are acceptable such as sidewalk signs that must be removed at the end of each business day or signs placed on private property.

Cost: Yearly renewal fee of $50. Two signs max per business. Initial and annual fees is for two signs.
