2023 Peace River Dodgeball Registration

WHO'S READY TO DODGE SOME BALLS?

The Peace River Rotaract Club is proud to host the 2023 18+ Dodgeball Tournament at the Baytex Energy Centre on April 28th & 29th.

SUPPORTING LOCAL SCHOOLS 

All proceeds from the 2023 Peace River Dodgeball Tournament will go towards purchasing new tools for local schools to support the learning and development of Peace River students.

Through our Tools 2 Teach program, we will work closely with schools to determine departments where supplies are needed including but not limited too; art supplies, sports equipment, library books etc. 

TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW:

  • All players must be 18+ to participate in game play.
  • Each team must be wearing matching uniforms and clean indoor court shoes
  • Team play consist of 6 players on the court to commence match. Teams can register up to 10 players.
  • Players attempt to eliminate opponent by hitting them with the ball or catching their throws. If a player is hit with a live ball, the player is out until one team is eliminated. See rules attached.
  • There will be 4 pools with round robin play. Each team is guaranteed 5 games in their pool.
  • Each match will be timed. Wins and longevity determine finalists.
  • There will be ONE WINNER in each Division and will be awarded CASH PRIZES.
  • We request that teams remain at the venue for timely tournament play. Beer gardens and concession will be open for your convenience.

  • Limited Team Availability: First to pay gets to play!

  • Fees can be paid via E-Transfer to: peace.rotaract@gmail.com. Please include your team name in EFT message
  • All tournament proceeds go towards Tools 2 Teach - New Tools for Local Schools
  • MUST BE 18+ to register
  • Liability Waivers to be signed upon Team Check-in on April 28th.

BALL STARS (6 Teams - No Gender Requirements)
“We’re better than you and we know it." Displays agility, above-average ability, and an All-Star attitude.

AVERAGE JOES (12 Teams - Minimum 4 Men & 2 Women)
"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball." Just want to gather with friends for some good laughs, hard hits and beers.

MASTERS (6 Teams - Minimum 4 Men & 2 Women)
"Grab life by the ball." Age 40+ and are aware of the regret after each match.
