The 2024 Humboldt Folklife Festival and Buddy Brown Blues Festival (and Barn Dances) Seek Volunteers!

Do you want to be involved in with these two amazing festivals?

The Humboldt Folklife Festival, the premier local music festival in Humboldt County, is coming up July 14th - July 20th!  A great line up of local performers is coming together, and now the Fest organizers seek volunteers to help the festival run smoothly.  People who enjoy folk music and want to pitch in with like-minded folks to support this annual event are invited to volunteer.   

The Buddy Brown Blues Festival will be held Saturday August 10th at Perigot Park in Blue Lake and features all local bands. It began in 2001as the Blue Lake Blues Festival, and was renamed in memory of Richard Duggins (better known as Buddy Brown), who opened the festival its first year and passed away shortly after.

We need help at our barn dances as well!  Come get your square dancing on all while making an impact in your community!  Yee-haw!

People power is needed to once again make the Festivals a success. Volunteers can assist with staffing information, set-up, clean-up, concession tables, poster distribution and more. We need YOU to help make the Festivals a success!
