Next Step Fund Panelist Agreement and Payment

This is an agreement for panelists serving on the FY23 Next Step Fund panel for the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council (MRAC).

MRAC agrees to pay the full stipend amount of $750 for serving as a panelist. Service includes attending a webinar orientation, reading and reviewing all assigned applications, providing a score for each criterion, and selecting or writing at least one comment for each application.

The payee is responsible for their own tax liability. A 1099-Miscellaneous Tax Form will be mailed to the payee at the end of January of the following year for annual earnings at MRAC exceed $600.

MRAC requires a signed form W9 from the payee in order to process payments. https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf
