Pride+ShavuotFEST Registration: June 4, 2022
Kick off Pride Month & get ready for Shavuot with BCC's youth and their families: bring a sweet treat to share and join us with the whole family for Pride & Shavuot songs, crafts, games, sweet treats, and Drag Queen Story Hour!

Whether your favorite part of Shavuot is noshing on cheesy treats, making your own Torah art, or debating the finer points of Jewish ethics in Jewish texts, Pride+ShavuotFEST will get you into the festive spirit to celebrate our pride in the values taught by the Torah and pride in being exactly how God made us to be, all across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

Register by June 1 so we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone! Bring a sweet to share for our potluck Shavuot kiddush; keep the ingredients list for store-bought items, or write out the ingredients on an index card so everyone can make informed decisions for their own allergies/dietary restrictions. (Dairy-based treats are most traditional for Shavuot, whether real or fake dairy, but feel free to pick up anything you'd like to share!)

We'll be gathering outdoors & masked in the BCC parking lot.
Dress for the weather: it could get warm in the sun or chilly in the shade!
* MASKING: Outdoors, masking is recommended but not required. While indoors, all participants must wear a KN95 or medical-grade mask that fits well around the mouth and nose. Fabric masks may be worn over medical-grade masks for our mask fashionistas.
* VACCINATION CARDS: If you have not yet submitted your vaccination cards for anyone 5+ in your family to BCC for in-person events, please bring your vaccination cards for all family members who have been able to receive the COVID vaccine, or email a photo to rae@bcc-la.org for us to keep on file for this and any future in-person events at BCC.

This event is free and open to anyone ages 2-18 and their families, with a suggested donation of $10 per non-member family.

June 4, 2022, 10:00-11:45 am

Tentative schedule:
10:00-10:15 Welcome & Opening Songs
