A questionnaire to determine who keeps and breeds rare equine breeds

My name is Emily Windsor, I am currently undertaking an MSc in Equine Science at Hartpury University and I would like to invite you to take part in a research study.
Before you decide, it is important for you to understand why the research is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read the following information carefully and discuss it with others if you wish. Please do not hesitate to contact me at Emily.Windsor@hartpury.ac.uk if any of the information is unclear or you wish to ask me any questions.
For this study, you will be asked to answer nine questions about yourself and the equine breeding industry, in particular focusing on the rare breeds. Your answers will then be used to help determine the rarity of breeds as well as where funding and research into conservation of the rare breeds needs to be directed in the future.
All information collected about you during the course of the research will be kept securely with the researcher. Any information which enters the public domain will be anonymised so that you cannot be recognized from it unless you wish to be publicly acknowledged. Questionnaire data will be held but information will be coded for anonymity.

This questionnaire is an initial study aiming to investigate who keeps and breeds rare/endangerd equine breeds. I would like to contine this research to look at the breeding lines of rare and endangered equine breeds. Combining data from these studies will allow me to determine how to promote the breeding of rare equine breeds.
