CRLD Spring Program
When: Monday, March 29 at 9:30am

The College & Research Libraries Division of the Delaware Library Association would like to invite you to our spring program! This program will consist of two, one-hour webinars; allowing for space to learn and engage in important topics for academic librarians and staff.

Session One starting at 9:30am: Forging partnerships has been a popular goal and topic for organizations over the past few years.  However, with limited time and resources, where do you begin?  In this session, tips and suggestions will be given on how to form partnerships with organizations outside academia and libraries, using examples of past successful partnerships conducted by Delaware Humanities. There will be some activities that include breakout rooms.

Session Two starting at 10:35am: With rampant misinformation and fake news swirling around on social media and the internet, this session will explore how we, as academic librarians, face and tackle misinformation during our job. We will have a panelist of librarians from various positions across academic libraries who will share how they work to push college students to think deeper about the information they are consuming.

A Zoom link will be sent to you on Friday, March 26.

We hope you can join us!
