Field Trip Request Form
Please complete the following request for school field trips for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 (afternoon only). Field trip slots at Bookworm Gardens fill quickly (typically 12 months out)!

You are welcome to sign up on our waitlist.
 
Field trips and student programs are only available for groups of 10 or more that register in advance. Cost is $6.00 per student. When you are finished, click Submit to send your request to the education department at Bookworm Gardens.

Once we receive your request, we will contact you to verify availability and create a group reservation. If we are unable to accommodate your request, we will contact you to discuss alternatives for your group. Please note that pre-registration for field trips is required.

Cost per student is $6. There is no charge for teachers and chaperones required for the field trip or that are essential for travel. Any additional chaperones will be $10 per person. Please note that we do not have trash bins on our grounds. Schools and public visitors must take all garbage with them when they leave.
Is there a specific curriculum connection you are hoping to make while on your field trip?
We can offer classroom specific curriculum connections (within reason) beyond our traditional garden detectives module. Examples: Local Pollinators, Worms and Composting, Plant Identification and more!
