Step 1: Complete this Application Form.
Step 2: Submit Application Form by Friday 25th March 2022, 5:00 pm AEDST.
Step 3: Your application is assessed, and you will be notified of the outcome.


About the application process

Please respond to the application questions, while demonstrating your skills and experience against the key selection criteria below.

A VRAN selection panel will assess your application before talking with your referees and will then notify you of the outcome of your application by mid April.


Key selection criteria
----------------------------------
Collaboration: You help others, share ideas and provide constructive feedback that is inclusive of all contributions, and have good effective community networks.  

Strong interest in rabbit / natural resource management: You are involved with a community-based program or agency program, or considering developing one, with an interest in integrated rabbit management across the landscape.

Communication: You have good communication skills and can engage and connect well with people.

Capacity: You have ability to grasp new concepts around technical approaches to rabbit management and the capacity to apply this flexibly to achieve effective outcomes.

Commitment: You are prepared to participate in an ongoing learning program.


About the leadership program
------------------------------------------------
The time commitment for the VRAN Leadership in Rabbit Control course is 2.5 days.

Arrive: Monday 16 May 2022. Arrive from 3:00pm, course starts at 4:30pm.
Depart: Wednesday 18 May 2022. Course concludes 5:00-5:30 pm.

To continue your development after the course, you will be invited to attend 2-4 learning network sessions per year. These sessions will consist of a combination of meetings and field trips and are often held during business hours, so if you are employed you will be required to seek your employer’s support.
