1. All requests must be made using this form or by calling the church administrator on
757 229-1952, who will provide a link to the form. If help is needed filling out the
form, the church administrator can provide the needed assistance. Requests must
be submitted at least 4 business days prior to desired time of usage to allow our
Board of Directors time to evaluate and schedule.
2. All activities must reflect an appropriate spirit of cordiality and fellowship.
3. The sanctuary will be used for worship, study, discussions, weddings, funerals and
appropriate activities only. When given approval to use the sanctuary, no furniture
shall be moved or rearranged.
4. Non-church members and organizations are only authorized to use the requested
spaces and equipment.
5. Pets are prohibited with the exception of trained service animals.
6. Use of alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, profanity, gambling, smoking, vaping,
disorderly behavior, firearms, firecrackers or any other inappropriate activity is
prohibited on the church property.
7. Use of kitchen by members requires special permission and training.
8. Facilities and equipment must be left in the same condition as they were found.
After using the facility please clean up and restore furniture and equipment to original
configuration, turn off all appliances, lights, etc. and follow all instructions received
from church representative during initial booking. The person requesting use of the
space must be present for the duration of the event and is responsible for making
sure that the space is left clean, all lights are turned off and all doors are locked
upon leaving the building.
9. Requester must adhere to all occupancy guidelines as listed below.
- Maximum occupancy in Sanctuary is 300.
- Maximum occupancy in Fellowship Hall is 80.
- Maximum occupancy in Choir Room is 60.
