Outdoor Iranian Culture Festival This Summer?

The Twin Cities Iranian Culture Collective is considering a plan to hold a free outdoor Iranian Culture Festival and Picnic August 14-15 at Manomin Park in Fridley. We need your responses in order to decide whether to proceed, and to plan for our event if we proceed. Please submit your reply no later than noon Sunday, July 24. Tickets will be free but limited, and respondents will have the first chance to reserve tickets. (A few picnic tables are available, but we encourage you to picnic Iranian-style - seated on the grass.

If we proceed, we are committed to making this a safe event for everyone. We will require social distancing, ask all guests to use face masks or face shields, and limit the number of people who can attend at any one time. We will follow guidelines from the Minnesota Department of Health and other experts.

Opening reception Friday August 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. with Iranian-style picnic, complementary food sampling and music performance.

Saturday, August 15 ,11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Iranian-style picnic with art exhibition, music performance and food for purchase (some may be complimentary if budget permits.).

Saturday August 15, 4-8 p.m. Iranian-style picnic with art exhibition, music performance and food for purchase (some may be complimentary if budget permits.)
