Thank you for your interest for presenting at the 2023 OSTA Fall Conference at Gresham High School in Gresham, OR. This is OSTA's 61st Conference and we are excited to celebrate and support Oregon's science and STEM educators.

Tentative Schedule (tentative regarding specific times, but this is the general outline):
Friday, October 13, 2023 Workshops and Fieldtrips; Proposals can be for 1 or 2 sessions and can be held offsite and involve travel. Each session ~3 hrs.
Saturday, October 14, 2023 Traditional Conference Session Format, sessions 50 min and possible to have 2 concurrent sessions.
Active and Retired Teachers / Educators are invited to submit up to a maximum of three (3) proposals for consideration. Proposals should focus on the presenter's individual work and not offer any endorsements to specific products or services on the market.
All presenters at an OSTA conference must register to attend the conference. Submission of a proposal is not equivalent to conference attendance registration.
Nonprofit Organizations and Government Agencies are invited to submit up to a maximum of three (3) proposals for consideration. Proposals should focus on resources that are freely available and do not have any fee attached for participants to be able to fully utilize said resources.
Any session that promotes a product for sale, program or commercial service must be conducted as an exhibitor workshop and NOT as a teacher workshop, presentation, or short course. In order to propose an exhibitor workshop, the company must be exhibiting at the conference. Please visit the OSTA conference exhibitor page for more information on exhibitor workshops. Acceptance of Exhibitors and Presenters: Applicants must use the appropriate application form. Decisions regarding the acceptability of exhibits and presenters will be made by OSTA. The content of materials and presentations must contribute to teaching, research, educational research, or the professional development of educators. OSTA reserves the right to refuse any application; to curtail or cancel any exhibit or presentation, either before or during the conference that in the opinion of the Conference team is not consistent with teaching, research, or the professional goals of the Oregon Science Teachers Association.
