FemTruth™️ Policy California, founded by Silvia Young in 2017, is an inclusive,  grassroots coalition of California-based patient advocates representing endometriosis, adenomyosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), interstitial cystitis (IC), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), uterine fibroids and more, with a mission to 1) educate in schools about common women’s health diseases and disorders, 2) create new laws for companies to stop targeting our community with (endocrine disrupting) menstrual products and 3) disrupt school truancy with disability access to ensure girls stay in school and receive an education, and ultimately a path to financial independence.
