PARENTAL CONSENT FOR AN EDUCATIONAL VISIT
School Group:
CHALFONT ST GILES JUNIOR SCHOOL – YEAR 6Visit to Brooklands Museum – Tuesday 18th April 2023
As part of our Year 6 topic on ‘Transport’ we would like to take all Year 6 pupils on a visit to Brooklands Museum in Surrey. During our visit we will be taking part in a guided tour in the morning: ‘Gateways to the world on land and by air’ followed by a self-guided tour in the afternoon, visiting areas such as the bus museum and the aircraft factory. The Gateways on Land tour is a guided tour of the motoring exhibits looking at how car design has changed over time, whilst the Gateways by air looks at aviation exhibits from early planes up to the Concorde and includes a walk-through of the Brooklands Concorde.
We shall be travelling to Brooklands by coach, leaving school after morning registration and returning before the end of the school day. In order for the visit to take place we will require a voluntary contribution of £24.00 per child to cover transport costs plus the cost of the workshops and ParentMail.
