Agricultural Business Foundations (ABF) introduces students to business management in agriculture. Mathematics, reading, and writing components are woven in the context of agriculture and students will use the introductory skills and knowledge developed in this course throughout subsequent CASE courses. Throughout the course are practical and
engaging activities, projects, and problems to develop and improve employability skills. The Agricultural Business Foundations course is an elective course from the AgSTEM menu. The course is structured to enable all students to experience an overview of agricultural business management either as a stand-alone course or within a sequenced
pathway of instruction.


Meeting Location, Lodging, Meals:
The course will be held at Minarets High School in the Media Lounge at 45077 Road 200, O'Neals, Ca 93645.  Should you need accommodations to stay the night, the closest hotels include Chukchansi Hotel and Casino in Coarsegold or hotels in Clovis or Fresno.   The following meals are included: Continental breakfast and lunch.  BRING YOUR LAPTOP WITH DOWNLOADING RIGHTS TO THE SESSION.


Registration:
The one-day course is set to begin with registration and a Continental breakfast beginning at 9 am on July 17 and will end by 4 pm. The registration fee is $250 which includes breakfast, lunch, certification from CASE, and all curriculum for the course.  If you are traveling from a significant distance and need lodging, please make your own arrangements. Please contact me with any questions regarding lodging.

If your registration is being handled through your district office with either a PO or check, please complete this registration form as soon as possible.  Deadline for registration is Monday, June 3rd, 2019.  Payment must be received by Keeley Hall by Friday, June 28th.
