Harrow Safeguarding Children Board (HSCB) & Safeguarding Partnership recommends that every group working or in contact with children and young people including voluntary, community, faith and private organisations should have a lead, and deputy, Nominated Safeguarding Person. It is important this role is clearly defined and understood.

A level 1 & 2 must be completed prior to attending a level 3 training session.

This training session will:
 - Clarify the role & responsibilities of the Nominated Safeguarding Lead
 - Provide guidance on the protocol and procedures expected to be adhered to
 - Create a main point of contact for the organisation for the HSCB
 - Provide a link to the designated Safeguarding Lead for Harrow (LADO) for support and information purposes
