Hello! Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Rutherford!

We are excited that you are planning to have your wedding at the First Presbyterian Church of Rutherford. Marriage is a gift from God and weddings are a service of Christian Worship.

Planning should begin by contacting the church office for a copy of the church wedding policy, wedding forms, and available dates.

Comprehensive Fees

Fee Schedule for non-members who request the use of our facilities for the wedding service:

Wedding Service in Sanctuary: $2,000

This fee allows for fair compensation of our pastor, music director/organist, wedding coordinator, and cleaning crew and for preservation of our beautiful historic space.

Please note: there is no air conditioning in the sanctuary.

We welcome conversations regarding small services or particular financial circumstances to utilize our chapel space at a slightly reduced rate.

Payment in full is required at least 30 days in advance of the ceremony. A non-refundable deposit of $750 is required upon signing.

Please coordinate with Bill Rood, our Director of Finance & Buildings Administrator, to arrange payments.
