CMA (Carleton Marketing Association) is a student-run organization dedicated to all undergraduates interested in the field of advertising and marketing.
Our mission is to make CMA a valuable resource for students interested in the marketing industry by striving to create opportunities for members to build a bridge between university and the professional world.
Members will develop leadership, marketing and communicative skills to increase their level of experience and knowledge. CMA also offers an opportunity to make lasting friendships with students interested in careers in marketing.
Positions:
CFO – Chief Financial Officer (1 position)
• Oversee all financial dealings of the association
• Records all financial dealings of the association
• Ensures that adequate budget and financial controls are maintained
CMO – Chief Marketing Officer (1 position)
• Publicizes association activities through email, social media and the club website
• Finds ways to use technology to improve organization's operations (e.g. communications and outreach)
• Develops and maintains club website and social media sites
The COO – Chief Operating Officer ( 1 position)
• Presides at meetings in the absence of the CEO
• Plans, coordinates, and recruits committee to manage a series of meetings and programs
• Coordinates programs with the CEO and the executive committee
• Creates and manages all the to-do lists of the CFO and CMO
• In charge of Internal and External Affairs
Events Committee: (minimum 2 positions)
• The CMA Events Committee plans and executes student events
• Create new events and activities, bring new ideas to the team
• Work with all other executives in the development, organization, implementation and promotion of events and activities
• Attend events and make sure that any issues that arise are dealt with in a time-efficient and professional manner
Requirements:
• Undergraduate student in Carleton University
• Must be interested in Marketing
• Relevant experience with the position
